during the novel experience explore the standards through the arts lense. Students are given opportunities to show their mastery through milestone projects that combine both the core subjects with the art strands. Writing is incorporated throughout the curriculum where students learn writing styles that fit both their audience and topic. |

History focuses on ancient civilizations, where
students learn about Early Man to the fall of the Roman Empire. Students look through the eyes of an historian, geographer, and archeologist to discover the importance of history. Students will participate in a variety of partner and group activities throughout the year. |
